PRINCETON JUNIOR SQUASH RULES

1) Please do you best to be on time—we only have an hour and don’t want to waste it. Being on time means to come ten minutes before your hour’s start time and change your shoes, have your racquet and eyewear in hand and ready to go.  Be at the assigned location (generally court 1 gallery) ready for the roll call for each session.

2) Label your stuff, particularly your racquet and eyeware. We can’t return it if we don’t know who it belongs to.

3) Carry your squash shoes to the courts (white soles or non-marking light-color soles only), and wear some other shoes to come and go in. The courts must be kept free of outside dirt and mud if we are to be allowed to use them.

4) Do not jump down on to the courts from C level or climb out of them. Use the doors on D level to enter and exit the courts.

5) Eye protection must be worn at all times on the court. NO eyewear—NO PLAY—NO EXCEPTIONS! We have

6) Please return squash balls, and any racquets or goggles borrowed to the coaches at the end of each session.

7) Please arrange to be picked up promptly at the end of each session. The coaches have homes to go to and Security has to lock up. We don’t want you locked in overnight.

8) We welcome your parents and siblings as spectators, but no unaccompanied children please. We cannot accept any responsibility for children who are not in the program.

9) Weather can sometimes disrupt the schedule. In case of snow or major bad weather, always assume squash is on—we will e-mail you and tell you if it has to be cancelled. PLEASE CHECK EMAIL if the weather is in question.

10) Above all, have fun and enjoy your squash as much as we do—Gail and Richard.
